An up-and-coming voice in Christian
music, Radio Altar released their first full-length project,
Arms, in June 2005. Since then, Radio Altar has developed
a loyal following through the appeal of their unique blend
of rock, alternative, gospel, and contemporary Christian influences.
Drawing upon the diversity amongst its members, the band reaches
and impacts hearts across culture, age, and religion. The
multi-ethnic band is comprised of David Paredes on lead vocals;
Tim Elder, guitar; Joe Quadara, guitar; Josh Greegor, bass;
and Cleo Cook, drums.
Guitarist and producer Tim Elder provides a unique vision
for the band by blending his desire to reach popular culture
with his heart for worship: “Despite the methods and
styles we use to deliver our music, we do not compromise or
water down the potency of our gospel message,” says
Tim. “The music that we play is a reflection of the
joy that we have found in a personal relationship with Jesus
Christ and the comfort that comes from His Holy Spirit.”

Tim Elder
- The passionate and driving guitar force behind the sound
of Radio Altar's edgy alternative rock energy gives a fresh
face and sound to modern Christian rock music. His orchestral
background gives an intelligent and articulate quality to
the band.
Joe Quadara -
Also known in the underground electronic music circles as
"bazooie," Joe brings a cool melodic subtleness
to the overall sound of the group. His heavy influences of
electronic and video game based musical styles and sounds
put a cutting edge new electronic spin on the guitar and background
effects that he adds to Radio Altar's worshipful artistic
expressions.
Josh Greegor
- The thunderous groove and intense power of his bass playing
gives Radio Altar a super solid punchy sound that is full
and exciting. His genuine heart and love for the teamwork
and synergy of music makes him a strong cornerstone and steadfast
foundation to the Radio Altar sound.
Cleshonda Cook -
Her energetic personality and explosive drumming style mixed
with her funk/gospel background gives a unique groove and
ultra-cool dynamic to the signature sound of Radio Altar.
Cleo's beaming smile, animated performances and integrity
shine through to everyone who hears her doing what she loves.
She inspires and engages audiences to discover there love
for the true art of worshiping God.
David Paredes -
The lead voice and main vocal staple to the Radio Altar sound,
David's obvious talent and singing ability is evident in his
soaring range, powerhouse pop vocals and soulful sense of
melody. His heart for worship and down to earth lightheartedness
impresses listeners with a strong feeling for his humble reverence
for the love of Christ and his passionate desire to share
it with the world around him.
